Peter Glenn Ski and Sports has an outstanding opportunity for a PHP/Drupal engineer in our Fort Lauderdale office.

Please no consultants or dev shops. This is for a dedicated, "in-house" engineer (telecommuting OK if you're awesome)

We’re looking for bright, dedicated, fun people who love solving problems. Ideal candidate has solid experience in both Drupal and e-commerce applications. We will consider someone well-versed in PHP and e-commerce applications without Drupal experience if you’re strong on the e-commerce side.

Job Responsibilities

• Help build and maintain our e-commerce and content sites using Drupal/Ubercart
• Help drive development direction, design, architecture
• Custom PHP/MySQL development
• Drupal Module Development
• Theming
• Work with contractors and freelancers on these projects
• Work with internal IT team to make all our different systems play nice

Qualifications

• 2-4 years’ proven experience with Drupal/PHP in an e-commerce environment
• MySQL experience. We handle large, complicated data sets and need things to be efficient.
• 1-2 years’ experience developing e-commerce applications
• Ability to code XHTML and some CSS experience
• Experience Theming
• Familiarity with Solr or other faceted search
• Understanding of basic web tech (HTML, JS, jquery, etc.)
• Ability to play nice with Windows, too.
• Adherence to web standards and object-oriented programming
• BS/MS in Computer Science
